Random Searching On Youtube

It's a Final Fantasy 6 version of the Fullmetal Alchemist opening and ending!

The characters in order of appearance starting from the airship scene, if you haven't figured it out:

Terra, Relm, Locke, Setzer, Strago, Celes, Umaro, Sabin, Shadow, Gogo (the guy covered in colorful clothes), Edgar, Cyan, Mog (the "thing" which bounced on Cyan), and Gau. And the clown guy with the weird smile's Kefka. And the cosplay video shows someone cosplaying and acting as Kefka wrecking havoc at a convention.

Strangely enough, my favourite character's Relm.(the little chubby blond-haired kid with the paintbrush.)

End of a random post. ><

弟子规& Piano Exam

Today, our class went to the Kong Chen hall to watch the finals of the 弟子规 reciting contest, mainly because the 8 students from my class got into the finals. This means we get to skip Kemahiran Hidup, Chinese and Sejarah. Sweet.

Our class was the first to perform. I think they're making it into a sort of comedy on purpose. Everyone laughed. Including my class. And me. It's impossible not to laugh. Especially at "Mami, 门口有怪susu!" Well, that's how it sounded like to everyone. Then Daipi who was performing, did his laughing act. I think he forgot that he was holding a mike. I swear that I could feel the textbook I was holding vibrate s bit too strong for what I was expecting.

Then there were the other classes. Except for 1 Hui, who seemed to copy off 1 Xin but did it really badly, and 1 Jing, the others were really good. Especially 1 Xin. Nice and cinfident voices and nice choreography. Nice. Everyone expected them to win, but the first prize went to 1 Ren. And we got 4th place.

Most of the Form 2 classes only did reciting. Wasn't too surprising that first prize went to 2 Xiao. I nearly died from staring: a boy and girl with a cardboard sign saying "Dad & Mum" strung round their necks, a fat guy dressed in drag i.e hula skirt, 6 people with cardboard signs saying "小孩" round their necks and red indian headbands, and a guy who seemed to act as a priest or something.

Then there's the piano exam tomorrow. I'm going crazy with nervousness, mainly because my piano playing's pretty bad when I try to play a fast piece. My sight reading and aural sucks as well.

This is how I think my results might look like in the best scene scenario...

This is just a random doodle I did during the contest ok? And the color's done with color pencils...

That's how I think the best scene scenario would look like. Me only just barely passing it...

Back To School...

Today after being quarantined for a week, I finally went back to school. As I was expecting after the announcement last week, there were a whole line of teachers in masks barking at everyone to get into the Kong Chen hall to have our temperature taken. The teacher taking my temperature pointed this little gadget thingy-thingy at my forehead. She immediately muttered through her mask on why my temperature's so low after reading it. She kept on repeating this until the third or fourth try, then she finally asked if I had been riding in a bus with air conditioning. XD

During Science lesson, our teacher was talking about energy. Then she got on to potential energy. After lecturing, she took out a rubber band and fired it at 3 test subjects to demonstrate. All 3 subjects were sleeping at the time of the rubber band shooting.

Test subject no. 1: Henry
Result: Subject woke up, but is still rather dreamy. Went back to sleep after 5 minutes.

Test subject no. 2: Kok Kian
Result: The rubber band hit the head of subject. Subject didn't feel the impact and continued sleeping.

Test subject no. 3: Yi Hao
Result: Subject woke up after the rubber band missed him.

Just before the bell rang, our teacher managed to get to sound energy, and demonstrated it on Kok Kian, who was still sleeping.

Teacher: WAKE UPPPPPP! THE BELL RANG ALREADY!!!!
Kok Kian: *continues sleeping*

Pretty incredible, seeing as our teacher's yell was really loud.

One Week's "Quarantine" And Homework

Starting from tomorrow, the school's closed until next Monday cos' they're suspecting that there're cases of H1N1.Not surprising seeing that there're plenty of students coming down with flu symptoms.

Because of the school's closure, the teachers are sure bombarding us with a lot of homework: Biology, Chinese, Art, BM, Computers and Technology and English. Then there's some stuff I have to type for the notice board, and the singing test which I hate, some e-class work and more mini tests. Sigh. Life is stressful.

Singing: I hate to sing cos I normally get offtune and my voice sounds really silly. That takes lotsa points off. Plus side: At least you get extra points if you play an instrument, more if it's really good. Now to look for a music score.
