Dirty Jobs With Dad, Bro & Yen

Mum decided to let bro and me work to death, or exhaustion, by cleaning the ponds and weeding while she washed her hair and gave herself a footbath in the "comfort" of the bathroom. Bro complained: he just came back from his SPM and he hasn't even taken his coffee or bath yet.

Bro did the weeding. I got the "honour" of cleaning the fish pond and lily pond. Easily one of the messier jobs in the garden. The fish pond was bigger than the lily pond, but the lily pond's a bigger pain to clean: there's so much green goop and gunk in there I couldn't even see the poor fishies, which resulted in a few of the poor things being accidentally thrown out of their pond. Luckily, bro rescued them so now they have transferred to the big fish pond, which is actually cleaner despite being bigger.

Bro managed to pull out quite a few weeds, but he didn't exactly pull most of the weeds out. Weeding out the garden in a day is impossible: it would take a week at least to rid it of weeds. And he wouldn't pull the ferns out: he said they were too "cute", though I can't see how cute can a bunch of ferns can get.

Then dad got home. We greeted him with a "surprise": the surprise of seeing 2 half-filled ponds, weeds left to dry out on the ground and a blocked drain, thanks to all the algae and stuff I scooped out of the lily pond. Dad proceeded to unblock the drain and get out the soap powder so that he can scrub the floor. Bro finally succumbed to the lack of caffeine and got me to make him coffee. It stood there going cold before it finally fulfilled its destiny of being consumed. And just to wind bro up, I made the coffee in the "I ♥ Herbalife" mug. Neither him nor me like drinking that Herbalife stuff.

After we cleaned everything up, we (not including mum) secretly went to eat "kayu". (dont tell her)
