Stage Fright

Next week, our music test is gonna start. Good thing the teacher's gonna start with the boys, or I'll die from the fright. Bad thing is the selection of songs that we were given to choose from involved a lot of flats/sharps, or they are way too high/low for me to sing properly, or it involves jumping octaves. Not good at all, as I've always had trouble jumping from one octave to another. I tend to end up singing at least 2 notes lower than I want to.

Then there's my English teacher who had signed me up for the poem recitation contest. The stage fright's going to get to me. Dancing in a see-through jumpsuit on stage as a kiddie was bad enough. Actually opening my mouth to say something on stage is worse. And the contest is 2 days before our exams. What the *insert all sorts of swear words in all sorts of languages/dialects here*.

Ah, the pain. At least I did warn my teacher that I can have a slightly twisted sense of humour at times. And selecting a poem to recite is one of those times. >:3
