New Beginnings

Well, tomorrow's the start of a new school year. Who thought of starting something called a school anyway? Sheesh.

Anyway, the next few days would probably be spent goofing off, as per "school tradition": getting our textbooks, making paper planes from pages of exercise book, introductions (I remember somebody going: "Today, my speech is: I forgot my lines, thank you all." in Chinese), and generally causing almost as much chaos as a hurricane. I wonder if you can borrow books on your first day back? I'm sick of having to read very poorly written stories with Mary Sue/Gary Stu insertions and stories which are abandoned on Fictionpress. If you're going to abandon a story at least tell the readers who're expecting more chapters.

Lunches... at least my lunch time would be at a normal time instead of at 2 or 3 p.m., or even 4 p.m. But then that would mean back to having to eat hor fun/ hot dogs/ sandwiches at least 3 times a week thanks to coming late.

I really hope that the bus uncle would be punctual this time: I don't want to stand in the heat for more than an hour with a bunch of irritable Form 3 boys who make up weird stories on why the bus uncle was late, ranging from him being bitten by a werewolf to him raping someone to get rid of the extreme boredom of waiting. That's the bad thing about being near the equator: It's frickin hot. By hot, I mean temperature hot, not sexy hot.

Let's hope that the 4 leaf clover I found actually gives me good luck for this year. And to everyone who bothered to read this far.
