So... the first week of school's gone...
The textbooks were a pain to carry back: they're all so heavy my arms wouldn't stop shaking 10 minutes after I put the books down.
I ended up having the same teachers for art and P.E. Then there's Mr Momo or Maomao(those are just nicknames given to him by students , and somehow he accepts them) for physics. And my maths teacher whom bro calls "Kuk Fa" or chrysanthemum, because of the pronunciation of her surname. According to bro, Miss "Kuk Fa" isn't too good a teacher. In a way, she is: she fails to grab our attention long enough.
I seem to have lost all idea on how to "dig" a volleyball, as well as all ability of speaking Malay. Oh well...
Then there's the "No Plastic Bags and Polystyrene" program launched this week at the canteen, and then they decided to station a few prefects right by a few big bins used to dump dirty plates and cutlery just to help everyone figure which plate goes to which bin. Wow. The most exciting time of your prefect career: when you have to help people by saying which plate/bowl goes to which bin for the whole of recess while trying not to look inside the bins.
If I'm correct, next Saturday's the CNY school festival. Prepare for plushies and overpriced food and stampeding crowds.
