An Aunt's Visit

My aunt came on Saturday night to help fix the computer, and as usual she brought presents. I keep forgetting that she normally picks presents which aren't my taste or my brother's. And she normally splashes a bit too much.

Though this time it wasn't as bad as last time when she bought a poison pink shirt with three creepy looking ballerinas on the front which probably would have fitted a 6 year old, and an oversized shirt that would fit somebody who's three times wider than bro. Bro got The Five People You Meet In Heaven. I got a Babysitters Club graphic novel called Stacy, and a Candy Apple book called Accidentally Famous. I didn't really like the Candy Apple book, but I liked the graphic novel.

After she's done with the computer, mum, dad and my aunt talked their way to oblivion. It was way past midnight when she left, and bro and I had to listen to them talking about everything from Herbalife to dieting to the college my aunt teaches. In other words, anything that they could think of that has something to do with at least one of them.

With her going off at way past midnight meant I couldn't pay off the sleep debt I accumulated over the week, so now all I felt like doing is sleeping...
