My class got started on organisms which have no spinal cord coupla weeks ago. Ya know, roundworms, liver flukes, jelly fish, tapeworms, scorpions, flies, you get the main idea. I'm pretty freaked out even if the others weren't. Especially when our teacher showed us close-ups with the projector. As she said, "这就是肝吸虫帅气的样子"
Then we progressed on to... insects and arachnids. Not my favourite at all. Then we got on to an "interesting" part: a video of a centipede fighting a tarantula. The commentary's entirely in Japanese, so I can barely figure out what they're saying. Apparently they dumped both creatures into a glass tank. Whichever creature gets poisoned first loses. In the red corner, the centipede, with 2 wins up its belt(note that this info's written in English). In the blue corner, the tarantula.
The boys were originally rooting for the tarantula, but later booed it cos it didn't even try to bite the centipede when it had so many chances. The centipede won in the end.
